GOAL!

I hit my weight watchers goal last night! Last week I had 2.2 pounds to lose, so I decided to try and lose that in one week. I worked my butt off (literally) and tried to be really good about staying within my point range this week so I could make it. I was really nervous all day yesterday about whether or not I lost enough, so I didn't eat or drink very much before weigh-in. I also tried to wear some light weight clothes, just to play it safe. Then, I stepped on the scale and lo and behold-it dropped 4.4 pounds! So I passed my goal with a little bit to spare. I'm so excited. Now I have to maintain for 6 weeks to achieve my lifetime membership. I', actually hoping to eventually lose a couple more pounds, but with Thanksgiving coming I will just try not to put any weight back on and to keep up with my exercise. I feel so good now. Going through this process has helped me realize that I really can do anything if I'm willing to put my mind to it and take the necessary steps to make it happen. It feels really good to officially no longer be "overweight," but to really be "healthy."
